The 1.2 release reflects the company's customer centric approach, as many of the new features are a direct result of the feedback from RentSentinel 1.1. The update brings an enhanced user experience to RentSentinel and improvements to the framework. The redesign of the content management area is organized to provide quick and direct access to a user’s community information.
“The 1.2 release helps bridge the gap between a basic content management tool and an enterprise suite,” says Kevin Koperski, RentSentinel’s Design and Usability Engineer. “Originally our focus was functionality, but with RentSentinel 1.2 you can begin to see our new emphasis on improving the overall experience, especially in the Content Management areas. Going forward, we expect to make similar improvements throughout the application. Customer feedback has been, and will continue to be, invaluable.”
In addition to an enhanced look and feel, RentSentinel 1.2 now supports craigslist account logins for users who do not wish to post anonymously. Users can also choose to copy up to 10 people on email leads from the lead management module. Plus, RentSentinel 1.2 introduces the all new ad scheduler for posting ads to selected classified sites: Google Base, Hot Pads, Vast, and Oodle.
RentSentinel 1.2 will also present the first phase of Style Templates. Communities can customize their own style templates by altering the font and color of prebuilt templates, inserting a community logo or banner, and adding customized Specials text.
Furthermore, RentSentinel's analytics team has added new reports to the Discover section for 1.2. The reports range from an “All Leads Report” that analyzes all of the leads of a community during a period of time to an Executive Report of “Portfolio Overview” that summarizes the postings and responses for all communities within a portfolio to even a brand new Content Success Reports section that generates reports to inform users on the pricing, titles, descriptions, photos, and features that receive the best responses.
To prepare for the RentSentinel 1.2 rollout, an email announcing the new features was sent to existing RentSentinel customers, and the company is offering free, scheduled Webinars during the week of the release.
